Picking Up Grain

Meg WilsonArchive, Spiritual Life

If you are familiar with the story of Ruth, you will recall that Boaz offers help by allowing her to follow behind during harvest and pick up any dropped wheat. She doesn’t have to pick it, just follow the other workers in faith. This is how I have been feeling over the last few months.

God has been dropping grain and I just keep following in faith. Never have I felt more lead or carried by my Maker. He is leading me to advance this ministry and take it to a new level, so stay tuned as I am in the process of rolling out a new non profit, Hope After Betrayal Ministries! Please pray for me as I follow God’s lead having no previous experience. Pray for provision in every form.

Of course donors are important but I am looking for a young person to help with my online presence and managing things like Facebook and Twitter. Also volunteers to help with setting up the office and help with future fundraisers, etc. Pray for me as I begin to put together curriculum to go along with my book. Any suggestions are welcome.

Of course I trust that these are future bits of wheat to be offered in time. So far, God has provided the vision, an amazing board, potential office space, and numerous resources. I trust Him for whatever comes next and appreciate those of you walk before me and to the work of prayer!
